Beer 101 Kentucky Eagle Cocktails
Erie Brewing Company

erie-brewing Erie Brewing Company was founded in October of 1993 and became operational in November 1994. Its original location was Union Station/Hoppers Brew Pub.  The company began with a manufacturing capacity of 1040 barrels, or 2080 1/2 kegs.  In 2002, plans for the year were to double fermentation space and upgrade bottling and packaging. Sales volume was expected to increase to 5,300 barrels...that's almost five times the sales volume in 1999. There were also plans to expand distribution to Mid-Western, Mid-Southern, and Southeast PA.  Future plans include expanding distribution to West Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. There are also thoughts of building reconfiguration. www.eriebrewingco.com/
