As an active and caring member of the community, Kentucky Eagle, Inc. implements numerous social responsibility programs each and every year. From signage to renowned speakers, it is our goal to provide constant educational reminders and services to those in Lexington and the surrounding areas. Many of our programs focus on responsible drinking, while others command environmental and ecological awareness.
Recently, we invested in Sarah Panzau - a spokesperson who speaks to children, teens, and college students about the pressures of drinking – & Carolyn Cornelison & brought them to schools in Mercer County, Danville, and Richmond (including EKU). In their speeches, they captivate audiences with compelling stories of tragic realities caused by underage drinking, drunk driving, & binge drinking.
Aside from speakers, Kentucky Eagle partakes in several responsible drinking ad campaigns. Whether in the Tops in Lex magazine or on the windows of Yellow Cabs, our signage is ever-prevalent anywhere you go. Our partnership withBeMyDD also contributes to a major portion of our drunk driving awareness efforts. Below is a campaign we ran awarding a $1,000 scholarship to the best high school video submittal discouraging underage drinking.
Environmental and ecological issues are other topics that Kentucky Eagle confronts. Not only do we emphasize recycling through an array of outlets, we also are stationed in a facility that is the first Anheuser-Busch distributor building to become LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certified in the U.S. In addition, Kentucky Eagle is a strong supporter of the Anheuser-Busch animal rescue and rehabilitation initiative.
